Hey Hello there! #TheBATeam is again back with another small, simple but effective batch project. The batch program is a simple Resistor decoding Program, i.e. It will help the user in Decoding the 4 band color coding of the electronic component called as 'Resistor'.

The Program is a simple batch project that is suggested by One of my industrial trainer, who taught me various aspects of working in the industrial environment, during my training hours. His interests in electronics area and my interest in programming results into this project's Idea. We have created this program just as a dedication to my first practical work guru, Mr. Paramjeet Singh. It is my small action to show the respect that I carried in my heart. I hope you'll consider it. ☺

Resistor Decoder v.1.0 | By Kvc is a small 6 KBs of Batch Program, which uses various batch plugins for accomplishing the required Job. The program is designed as like it is one of the Application from the Microsoft's App store. Because at one instance, it is very difficult for a user to differentiate that is it a Normal GUI application or a Highly customized CUI Batch Program

The simple and effective design reduces the work-load of #TheBATeam a lot. Because, the design itself lead us to use all the required plugins in the project. The Program may not be that much useful for all the batch programmers out there. But, everyone can learn various aspects of batch programming from this batch project. We have used many various tricks and hacks in the main code, which may be helpful for you.

For example, you can learn the following sub-topics just by analyzing the code and algorithm of the project.

How to Show an image in cmd window?
How to get mouse hover in cmd?
How to display a clickable list in cmd?
How to do dynamic coding, instead of rigid static coding?
Designing and Making a simple, but effective application.
Etc. etc.

Although, we will post about these basic concepts of programming in our next articles. But, it’ll be better if you’ll learn these things by yourself. And the things you learn by yourself will remain in your mind throughout your life. Because,
You are your best Teacher.”

The project is an attempt of #TheBATeam to combine electronics and computer programming together on the same platform. So, this can be considered as the multi-disciplinary attempt of #TheBATeam. Because, it is a Computer Program about an Electronics concept by a Mechanical Engg. That’s why, it contains too much to learn and teach.

The Project has taken almost a month to complete, but due to our busy schedule. It is completed in about 2 months’ time span. And the plugins had made our life very easy. What we need to do is, put the required plugins in a folder and include that folder in working directories of the program. And we are ready to code. The image below contains the whole list of the plugins used in completing this project. They are mostly created by kvc himself. However, the Main-core plugins are The awesome work of some other Programmers | DarkBatcher | Anonymous etc. Pardon me for not mentioning everyone.

The List Function is the new plugin that #TheBATeam has created for accomplishing their purpose in this project. It makes user’s clicking experience in the project better. And using the List function is very easy. Because of this feature of List Function … we could be able to do dynamic coding of the program more flexibly. One of the benefit, which we can get from using Plugins in the Program.

You can also use them in your Programs. Just Download the Project from the Link Given Below and Extract all the plugins from the Files folder. Read about them from searching on the google. Or Dig the usage from the source code of the Resistor Decoder v.1.0 | By Kvc.

Watch the little tutorial embedded above in the article. It will clear almost all of your doubts. But, in case you still have some doubts or queries in your mind. You are free to comment below in the comment field. We'll be happy to help you. Thanks for your precious time.
